Quarterly Economic Review – May 2010

Welcome to EFH's third Quarterly Economic Review.

We provide an overview of the condition of the main economic theatres around the globe. Our review includes a summary of the movements in interest rates, commodities and currencies, and analyses conventional and Islamic equities and credit markets.

We also provide a detailed review of the Real Estate market in both the UK and Europe.

This issue has a distinctly British flavour as we have analysed the effects of May's General Election. After much negotiation a coalition has now been formed led by David Cameron, Leader of the Conservative Party, with Nick Clegg, the Leader of the Liberal Democrats, as Deputy Prime Minister. We believe this new coalition will deliver a strong and reliable Government and provide a source of reassurance in turbulent markets.

We hope that you will find this publication of interest and enjoy its content.
